As the leaves turn and the air begins to stir, our bodies and minds can feel untethered. The fall season, aligned with the airy vata dosha in Ayurveda, often brings dryness, restlessness, anxiety, sleep struggles, and a sense of being scattered — especially in this stage of life.
Fall Into Balance is a gentle, nourishing retreat designed just for women. Through grounding yoga, restorative movement, calming breathwork, bedtime rituals, morning stillness, and supportive food and lifestyle practices, you'll learn how to bring vata back into balance — and come home to yourself.
We'll also explore the beauty of creativity, which flows naturally when vata is steady and supported. This weekend is your invitation to soften, stabilize, and reconnect with your inner wisdom — in community, in nature, and in your own body.
Come as you are. You are already enough.
Here’s How Fall into Balance Can Help You:
★ Community. Friday to Sunday in the company of likeminded women, supporting and championing each other.
★ Yoga, Somatic Movement, breathwork that will address body discomfort, anxiety, sleep and digestion.
★ Beautiful Setting. A beautiful log cabin Lodge set in the woods. On the back deck you'll find tables and chairs, a fire pit and hot tub. There's a lovely walking trail around the grounds and a labyrinth for you to dive more deeply in your journey.
★ Bed time and morning routines to allow you to take the steadiness you create on retreat back home with you.
★ Opportunity for Creativity. Time, materials and some inspiration for you to express how you're feeling and take touchstones home to place on your altar or wherever you need to remind you of your time at Frog Creek
★ Ayurvedic Concepts. We’ll explore the difference between prakriti and vikriti — your abiding constitution and your current imbalance — and learn how to support your body back toward harmony. You'll receive a personalized dosha quiz when you sign up!
★ Onsite chef. Thoughtfully prepared and delicious meals served! You get to just show up for them - yahoo!
★ Free Time and Plenty of Space to relax and just be.

About your guide . . .
Kim Trimmer has been teaching yoga since 1998, guiding students with compassion, clarity, and a deep respect for the individuality of each body and journey. Her approach is grounded, inclusive, and centered on helping women feel safe, supported, and at home in themselves — especially during the transitional phases of life.
Kim’s teaching is deeply informed by her studies in Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga. Her knowledge of this ancient healing tradition, particularly its relevance to perimenopause and postmenopause, brings an added layer of wisdom to her offerings. She integrates Ayurvedic principles into her retreats, classes, and personal practices, always with a spirit of curiosity and care.
At the heart of Kim’s work is a simple but profound goal: to help women reconnect with themselves — body, mind, and spirit — and rediscover the strength, softness, and balance that already live within.
